Furniture Bank relies on the generous support of donors and volunteers to help us in achieving our mission.,

There are several ways that you can help us to help others:

Donate gently used furniture and household items that are clean and in a good state of repair. Examples include:

  • Furniture – sofas, kitchen and dining           room tables, beds, dressers

  • Furnishings – lamps, pictures,      bedding and linens

  • Kitchenware – pots & pans, dishes and      cutlery, toasters and microwave ovens

In particular, we always have a great need for tables, dressers and beds.

Make a financial contribution.

Tax receipts will be issued for financial contributions of $25 or more.

Volunteer your time.

We need volunteers to help with the following jobs:

Client helpers: Assist clients with choosing furniture

Furniture handlers: Unload trucks and move furniture around in our warehouse

Housewares helpers: Unpack and sort dishes, pots and pans, fold and bundle bedding and linens

Office helpers: Take and retrieve messages on phone and email, do filing and data entry

Sales helpers: Price and display antiques and collectibles and help out at monthly sales

If you are interested in gaining volunteer experience in a social justice environment and you can spare a few hours each week, this is your chance to make a real difference - right now!
