Our Mission
Furniture Bank collects and distributes donated furniture and other household items to assist a wide variety of persons in Toronto who are in need.
Our clients are individuals and families who are leaving shelters or hostels, are refugee claimants, or are otherwise homeless. They are referred to us by over 150 registered agencies in the city.
We strive to meet our objective of reaffirming faith in the innate dignity of each member of the human family and to acknowledge the right of every person to his or her basic needs for sustainable living.

Our clients are generally starting from scratch. They are those who have finally found their way out of homelessness. They are refugees or families fleeing abusive situations. We try to give new hope by passing on a few furnishings received and given with a blessing. |
