Repair & Refinishing

Sometimes a simple repair can save a piece of furniture from the landfill.

And refinishing can give an old piece a new life!

Furniture Bank has a woodworking shop that is currently staffed by volunteers under staff supervision. The shop supports both our client showroom and our sales boutique.

When funding permits, we will establish a shop training program.

Participants in our Repair & Refinishing program will learn woodworking skills, repair and refinishing skills, basic job skills, and life skills.

In time, we will be able to offer a commercial repair & refinishing service to the public.
