Volunteer roles at Furniture Bank

Here’s a list of the hands on volunteer opportunities we currently offer at Furniture Bank.

Client service volunteers work directly with Furniture Bank’s clients, helping them select furniture for their newly established homes. Volunteers take clients around our showroom floor and help them choose the furniture and housewares they need to make their house a livable home, keeping track of the selected items using iPads.

Our client service volunteers also help out sorting through housewares donation. As one volunteer put it: “sorting through donation boxes is like a treasure hunt for good!”

Client service volunteers are needed Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 12:30pm.
