Melody Jackson, Fundraising Manager, Major Gifts & Annual Donations
Melody brings to the Furniture Bank, more then 14 years experience in the not-for-profit sector both voluntary and in paid positions. She has served in numerous capacities including advocating for folks suffering from much adversity, inequality, and who face uncertainty and risk. Her charitable strengths are coupled with a professional background in corporate sales and marketing. Melody is responsible for Furniture Bank’s annual giving and major gifts. She is developing relationships for funding with foundations, corporations, and other relevant funding bodies with the intention of taking Furniture Bank’s growth to new levels. As a member of the Fundraising Team she welcomes your call and fosters an environment where trust and caring will prevail.
Melody is a single mother who raised four children, one of whom suffers with a disability. She was inspired towards a life long commitment to helping others through her mother who is past Worthy Grand Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star (the largest fraternal organization in the world). Melody is a graduate of Sheridan College; Real Estate & Interior Design.
