First annual 1-800-Rid-of-It Yard Sale outstanding success!The sale held on June 18th in Furniture Bank parking lot was blessed with fantastic weather and through the hard work of all the volunteers from the Furniture Bank and the Parkdale-High Park Rotary we were able to raise over $5400 in support of the ongoing challenge of furnishing homes for those in need.
This worth while event was supported by· Collins& Greig Cartage , Sign-A-Rama and· HMB Graphics.
1-800-Rid-of-It is excited about holding the event again next year in the hope that they will be able to raise more money for Furniture Bank and keep more stuff from ending up n the landfill.· Next year, the hope is to find a great Toronto park for the venue!
