5 Organizations That Accept Office Furniture Donations & Supplies

Over the years home offices have become more prevalent. Remote work sites, long commuting times and self-employment drive the need to establish work locations in the home.

When it comes time to update your office or study area you want to make the right choices for the disposal of your old items.

Here’s a list of five organizations that will accept office furniture donations and supplies as well as the items each one accepts.

Green Standards

Green Standards Provides support to community organizations and charities by donating office furniture, supplies and equipment to local charitable organizations.

Items Accepted include:

  • Desks
  • Chairs
  • Book Shelves
  • Furniture
  • Computers
  • Monitors
  • TV’s
  • Office supplies and stationary

Canadian Diabetes Association

The Canadian Diabetes Association accepts all kinds of donations. From clothing, old cars, to office furniture and supplies.

Children’s Book Bank

The Children’s Book Bank provides books to young children from low income families in local communities.

Items Accepted include:

  • Gently used books for newborns to age 12

Their drop off is located at 350 Berkeley St., Toronto.

Toronto Public Library Foundation

Think of the Toronto Public Library when you have books and movies to donate. Donations support local and reference libraries

Items Accepted include:

  • Books
  • CD’s
  • DVD’s
  • Text Books
  • Magazines
