INSIDE FURNITURE BANK’S SECOND HOME

25 Connell Court has been Furniture Bank’s home since 2012. However, our journey starts years ago and passed through two other Toronto addresses before settling in south Etobicoke. In the spirit of Throwback Thursday (#TBT), here is a look back at our second home at 11 Peel Avenue with a few retro snapshots to help paint the picture of Furniture Bank’s history.

Heading southwest in mid-2009, we settled just north of the Gladstone Hotel on Peel Avenue. It was during our time in this space that we organized the inaugural Chair Affair and hosted CBC’s The National for an on-air interview with our team.
