Need furniture? Here’s what you need to know
Furniture Bank supports individuals and families transitioning out of crisis situations — including people moving out of homelessness, newcomers to Canada, women and children escaping violence, youth aging out of care, and many others facing challenging circumstances.
To access our services, you must be referred by one of our partner agencies. We do not take direct appointments.
We work closely with over 150+ social service agencies, shelters, and community organizations who assess needs and provide referrals to Furniture Bank.
If you already have a case worker or support worker:
Ask if their organization is a Furniture Bank partner. If so, they can determine if you’re eligible and make a referral on your behalf.
If you are not currently receiving support from an agency:
You can browse our list of partner organizations here. These agencies offer a variety of programs and services. You can reach out to them directly to learn more about how to apply. If you are accepted into their program, they may be able to refer you to Furniture Bank.
Please note: All referrals must come through one of our partner agencies.
