What We Accept
Our goal is to keep usable furniture out of landfills and get it into the homes of families who need it. We accept most standard household items, but for the health and safety of our staff and clients, some restrictions do apply.
What We Can't Accept
To protect our staff, volunteers, and the families receiving furniture, we cannot accept items that present health, safety, or sanitation concerns.
Biohazards & Pests
We will reject ANY item showing signs of bed bugs, pest infestations, mold, bodily fluids, or deep stains.
Large Appliances
No stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, or above-range microwaves.
Soft Goods
No clothing, towels, or loose linens are accepted.
Construction & Built-Ins
No cabinetry, bathroom vanities, marble items, wall-to-wall broadloom carpets, or construction debris.
Accepted Furniture & Household Goods
Living & Dining
- Sofas, couches, and armchairs.
- Dining tables, coffee tables, and end tables.
- Bookshelves and credenzas.
- Floor and table lamps.
- Rugs and artwork.
Bedroom & Mattresses
- Beds (Twin, Double, Queen, and King).
- Gently-used mattresses and box springs (MUST be stain-free).
- Wooden bed frames and metal castor rails.
- Dressers, armoires, and nightstands.
- Desks and mirrors.
Electronics (Must be working)
- TVs (flat-screen, tube-style, and console TVs).
- DVD/VCR players, stereos, and radios.
- Electric fans and space heaters.
Kitchenware & Small Appliances
- Microwaves, toasters, and blenders.
- Coffee makers.
- Cookware, bakeware, cutlery, and tableware.
What if my item isn't perfect?
Don’t worry about minor wear and tear. If our team picks up an item that ultimately cannot be re-homed to a family, we take responsibility for it. We will ensure it is properly recycled or diverted through our secondary donation partners, keeping it out of the landfill.

Free Warehouse Drop-Off
Doing your own drop-off? We accept walk-ins Mon–Fri, 9am–1pm, for car and pickup truck loads. Bringing a bigger load? Reserve a dock time in advance.
Pricing & Fees
We operate a social enterprise, not just a charity. Our volume-based removal fees, starting at $150, fund our trucks, our staff, and our year-round mission.
