Building on Success
Working with our impact measurement consultant, Melek De-Wint, I recently had the privilege of participating in an innovative Innoweave-funded initiative. This project has developed through two significant stages.
- Phase 1: Developing a furniture bank-specific impact measurement framework
- Phase 2: Expanding this framework into a comprehensive resource for the broader reuse charity sector
The session’s primary objectives were to delve into the outputs and outcomes relevant to clients, furniture donors, social services, and the environment, prioritize feasible measures, explore challenges associated with impact measurement, and propose collaborative solutions. Participation in this working session offers attendees a deeper understanding of impact indicators, common measurement strategies, and the opportunity to contribute to the creation of a sector-wide impact measurement tool, ultimately aiming to enhance collective reporting on the sector’s overall impact.
