Kitchenware Drive

Join the Kitchenware Drive and help families cook meals

What started as one small act of kindness has grown into something amazing — so many people have already stepped up to host their own Kitchenware Drives this year! From neighbourhood groups to schools and offices, families across the city are collecting pots, pans, dishes, bowls, cups, mugs and utensils to help fill empty cupboards for families starting over. Every mug, plate, and spoon helps turn a house into a home — and your generosity is making that possible.

Subject: Join Our Kitchenware Drive: Share Your Spare Dishes & Pots!

Dear neighbours/office mates,

We’re collecting kitchen items — plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, pots, pans, and anything else you no longer need — to donate to Furniture Bank.

Furniture Bank helps people in Toronto who are moving into empty homes by providing them with the essentials to start fresh.

We’ll be picking up donations on [DATE]. Please leave your items outside your house/bring them to the school office/bring them to the board room that morning, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Here’s what one Furniture Bank recipient shared:

“When I got my dishes and cookware, I finally felt like my place was a real home — I could cook, eat, and invite friends over again.”

Thank you so much for helping bring comfort to someone’s new beginning.

With love,
[NAMES]

Our team can't wait to meet you!
