Our Executive Director

When I started at Furniture Bank, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

Though I’ve always been passionate about building businesses from scratch, I had never imagined how fulfilling building a charity with its own social enterprise could be. I’ve loved every minute of it.

Heading into year six of being at the helm of this incredible organization, I support our fantastic teams in fundraising, partnerships and the social enterprise, client services, the warehouse, and trucking. I also spend a lot of time working on how to solve big challenges, such as  ‘how do we take the Furniture Bank model across Canada?’

When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with Tamara (my wife) and kids, teaching statistics at our local college, and/or having a nice strong coffee.
