Return on Disability

For years now, social enterprises have been operating in Canada and abroad for the dual purpose of generating income and achieving social, cultural and/or environmental goals, commonly referred to as a double bottom line.  In this fascinating story aired on CBC’s The National last night (July 06, 2014), a Tim Horton’s case study illustrates that there is real economic benefit for companies to hire people with disabilities – social enterprises, small businesses and large corporations alike.
