Furniture Bank supports families and individuals experiencing furniture poverty, including women and children leaving shelters, the formerly homeless, Indigenous peoples, those struggling with mental health, members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, newcomers and refugees.
In Toronto, in 2022, we supported 5,521 individuals across the Greater Toronto Area, with many more furniture pieces delivered across Canada through the Furniture Bank Network.
