Why do we charge?

Why do we charge for the pickup service?

Why our pickup service is not free of charge

A lot of times people wonder: “You’re a charity, why are you charging me?”

Good question.

The simple answer is: We charge for our service to sustain the organization.

The pickup fee allows us to remain operational and keep our lights on. As with any professional removal service, we send our teams into your home to do the heavy lifting for you. We then redistribute your gently used items to families in need. The families we serve do not pay for the furniture. With better rates than junk companies, (and knowing that your items are kept out of a landfill and into homes that need it most) we think it is money well spent!

How do we work?
