Furniture Bank is a Toronto-based social enterprise on a mission to end furniture poverty. We collect, process, and deliver furniture to families emerging from homelessness and displacement — turning empty housing into furnished homes. We’re growing fast, and we’re building the team that gets us there.

Founded in 1998, Furniture Bank has grown into one of Canada’s most innovative social enterprises. We run a full logistics operation — pickup crews, warehouse teams, client services, and technology systems — all in service of one goal: making sure that when a family finally gets the keys to a home, it actually feels like one.
We’re not a traditional charity. Half our revenue comes from our professional furniture removal service. We invest in technology, data, and operational excellence because we believe that’s how a 65-person team creates impact at scale. Our $5.76 social return on every dollar invested isn’t an accident — it’s what happens when mission and operational rigour work together.
