How does the tax receipt work?

One of the many benefits of donating to Furniture Bank is receiving a tax receipt for your donation.

Come tax time, you can claim the charitable receipt as a donation and can expect to see a return on your taxes. We use predetermined values in our system to generate the tax receipt value of your items. 

We have included a link below to the Canada Revenue Agency website that may help you calculate the amount you would be entitled to based on your income.
