The Workshop

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text module_class=”space_left” _builder_version=”3.23.3″]

With a bit of creativity and care, our Workshop team and volunteers rescue, repair and refurbish lightly-damaged items that would otherwise end up in landfill, and make them available to clients. It’s a triple win for the organization, our clients and the environment.

By keeping usable furniture and housewares out of landfill and redirecting them to families and individuals transitioning out of displacement, Furniture Bank actively supports the move towards a circular economy and a zero waste future.

The Workshop also provides Leg Up participants training in furniture repair, upholstery, and woodworking, giving them an opportunity to learn additional skills.
