CIBC has been a supporter of Furniture Bank since 2012. Having provided invaluable resources, CIBC has helped us in our mission to end furniture poverty. Not only have they donated financially, but many corporate volunteers have come to our Workshop over the years to build furniture for families in need.

Hear what the CIBC team thought of their volunteer experience at Furniture Bank. The team’s activities involved hands-on work, like building furniture, and the volunteers expressed a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction from their volunteer work. They appreciated the opportunity to make a difference for those in need and highly recommend others to contribute their time and efforts to Furniture Bank.
Wilson Chang, a representative from the CIBC team, spoke about his experience, mentioning that he has volunteered at other charities in the past and feels like Furniture Bank is not as well-known as other organizations, like food banks. However, he was excited that the experience at Furniture Bank was very unique and he recommends the volunteer experience for other corporate groups. Wilson also notes that CIBC has supported Furniture Bank in the past and he is grateful for the opportunity to contribute in person.

CIBC is actively investing in their community by supporting over 500 organization. They launched their community development plan in 2017 with the goal of increasing their contributions.
