Sales Coordinator – Stella [Meet Our Team]

Furniture Bank Meet Our Team

Hello! My name is Stella and I am part of the Sales Team at Furniture Bank coming up on three years now. I am also a part-time contributor to all things content on our website. If you would like to donate and schedule a furniture removal or, have questions on what we do, how we do it, and why, I am here to help!

This year has brought monumental changes in the way we all go about our day, work, and live our lives, and working through this current climate has been quite an eye-opening experience. At the height of the pandemic, Furniture Bank was considered an essential service that allowed us to remain operational the whole year. I am lucky in the fact that I can safely get my job done from the comfort of my own home, and have been for the past few months. These times have certainly given me a renewed appreciation for my health and to be grateful for what I have.

With that said being said, spending half of my day in front of a screen takes its toll. I have found taking a morning stroll down by the water has helped clear my head and provided an extra boost of energy to help me power through my day. Becoming a ‘morning person’ has been something I have strived for-for a very long time!

When I am not listening to the waves crash, I spend my time watching funny videos, reading a novel, and occasionally doing minor repairs around my home. Because of this, I now know that I thoroughly enjoy working with my hands!

Thank you for taking the time to read how I’ve been adjusting to working from home, and I hope you stay safe, healthy and keep a positive outlook during these times.
