Furniture Bank Impact Story

At Furniture Bank, we believe in enriching lives through experiences. This was the case for Ngaripue, who had a dream of pursuing economics at a university level. She found her stepping stone towards this aspiration in Furniture Bank.

As both a client and a volunteer, Ngaripue quickly adapted to our work culture, always exuding warmth and friendliness. Now residing in the eastern part of Toronto, she aims to leverage her past retail experience as she searches for employment that will enable her to save for her education.

In the interim, she’s working diligently to secure both a work permit and a study permit, utilizing the valuable skills she honed during her time at Furniture Bank.

Regardless of what our volunteers’ long-term objectives might be, Furniture Bank offers opportunities for individuals from all walks of life, with diverse interests and levels of experience.
